The Supreme Court of Allahabad heard a petition on the demand to open and investigate the 22 rooms built inside the Taj Mahal in order to find out its hidden history. 

According to the petition, there may have been statues of Hindu gods and goddesses in the rooms. Court Should release order for survey...

The chief official of the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) was told that the claims made in the petition are false. 

The Times of India reported that the first of these 22 rooms is not permanently closed and has been recently reopened for conservation, officials said about Taj Mahal news.

BJP leader Dr. Rajneesh Singh claimed in the petition that there is a temple of Lord Shiva inside the Taj Mahal's closed doors.

As a result, the BJP leader urged the "High Court" to form a fact-finding committee and open the 22 closed doors near the Taj Mahal so that the truth could be revealed.

In response to the petition, central and state government lawyers appeared to oppose it. After the preliminary hearing, the court dismissed the petition.

After PIL rejections, BJP leader Dr. Rajneesh Singh said,  survey of 22 rooms of Tajmahal not done, the matter would be taken to the Supreme Court.
